SUPER SINGER #1: Awards, Badges, Birthday Buttons, & Treat Topper labels

DESCRIPTION: Children love to be recognized! Try adding these to your singing time by rewarding children for their efforts. Awards can also be used as a label and given along with a sweet treat!
Plus they will feel special when it’s their birthday if they can wear a Happy Birthday button. Don’t forget the Treat Toppers* (see #3 below).
To Make: Print, color, and cut out awards and badges. Laminate for durability. Awards and badges can be pinned on the child with a small safety pin, or roll a piece of tape, and tape to the child’s clothes.
To Use: Ways to give the awards:
#1 – When using the following coordinating Singing Activities (see below), you can give children the matching award.
#2 – Container Awards. Place a mixture of all the awards in a container for children to draw from anytime children are singing well.
#3 – Treat Toppers. Ways to attach awards to treats: 1) Tape on top of homemade treats such as a cookie, Rice Krispie bar, candy bar. 2) Poke a hole in award to attach a string attached to a treat such as Smarties, or a sucker, or some other wrapped candy. 3) Glue to a popsicle stick to place on top of a frosted cupcake, cookie, or even a muffin.

COORDINATE SUPER SINGER AWARDS “You’re singing was bloomin’ spectacular!” and “You sand ‘bee’utifully!” with the “Bee”-utiful Singing Flowers (NOT INCLUDED with the activity).
COORDINATE SUPER SINGER AWARD “You’re an ‘egg’stra Special Singer” with the Egg-stra Special Singers (included with the activity).
COORDINATE SUPER AWARD “Happy Birthday to You” with the Happy Birthday Cake activity (included with the activity). The “I love my birthday! award is not included.
