You can help with God’s work.
Moses 1:39 “For behold, this is my work and my glory—to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.”
Heavenly Father loves all of His children. He wants to help them find happiness and joy, return to Him, and gain eternal life. This is called His work of salvation and exaltation, and He invites you to help!
Eternal Truths
God’s work and glory is to bring to pass your immortality and eternal life. Immortality is to live forever with a resurrected body. Eternal life, or exaltation, is to become more like God and live with Him eternally as families. All of this is possible because of Jesus Christ and His Atonement. You can trust Him.
You can help with God’s work by coming unto Christ and helping others do the same. Anytime you do anything to help someone follow Jesus Christ, you are helping with God’s work.

SCRIPTURE MEMORIZATION. PLAN OF SALVATION Moses 1:39 poster/card set. Youth can learn this scripture to know that God wants us to achieve our ultimate potential. “For behold, this is my work and my glory—to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.” We can all work together to help build up God’s kingdom as we are children of God who wants us to be with Him eternally. This shows youth ways to stretch their talents as a missionary, e.g.: Learn the Articles of Faith; read scriptures and Church magazines; be a friend; share your testimony of Jesus; be a good example; invite friends to activities, and more. Invitations
Live the gospel. Build your faith in Jesus Christ. Repent daily. Receive God’s priesthood ordinances and keep your covenants. Make that the pattern for the rest of your life.
Care for those in need. Find ways to serve and minister to others, including your family, your friends, and your community. One great way to help people in need is to obey the law of the fast and give fast offerings.
Invite all to receive the gospel. Let your words and actions reflect your faith in Jesus Christ. Be ready to tell anyone who asks you about the hope and happiness you feel as His disciple. For young men, serving a full-time mission is a priesthood responsibility. For young women, it is a powerful opportunity; pray to know if the Lord would have you serve. Prepare to share the gospel throughout your life.
Unite families for eternity by doing family history and temple work. Learn about your ancestors. Find out who needs temple ordinances. Go to the temple as often as you can to be baptized and confirmed for them. If you need help, go to FamilySearch.org.

SCRIPTURE MEMORIZATION. SHARE THE GOSPEL Doctrine and Covenants 133:37 scripture poster/card set. Youth can memorize D&C 133:37: “And this gospel shall be preached unto every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people.” This is part of the gathering of Israel in the latter-days to prepare for the Second Coming of Jesus. Promised Blessings
You will have God’s help. Heavenly Father does not expect you to do this work on your own. He is with you. When you humbly offer your time and heart, He will do amazing things through you. Jesus Christ is your strength!
You will be filled with joy. God’s work is a joyful work! As you take part in it, you can feel the joy He feels. Imagine the joy you’ll share with Heavenly Father and His children who you helped bring to Him!
BOOKMARK ACTIVITY. I KNOW MY SAVIOR LIVES bookmarks. Youth can use these 3-different bookmarks to mark and underline passages in the scriptures that tell about Jesus Christ our Savior how He lived, died, and was resurrected, and how someday He will return. The red robe is one He will wear upon His Second Coming (the red represents the blood of the wicked -see D&C 38:8). SEE MORE . . .
YOUTH ACTIVITY: MISSIONARY PREPARATION mirror motivators. Youth can post these skill-making reminders to prepare to teach the gospel: “It’s No Bologna You Must Build Your Testimony!” “It’s Quite a Thrill to Have a Skill!” “When You Know You Glow!” They can write desired skills in the journal spaces. MISSIONARY DISCUSSIONS WITH YOUTH:
Have the missionaries in your area or a returned missionary give the discussions to all youth (over several evenings). Offer discussions #1-6 found in the Uniform System for Teaching the Gospel booklets. (1) The Plan of Our Heavenly Father, (2) The Gospel of Jesus Christ, (3) The Restoration, (4) Eternal Progression, (5) Living a Christlike Life, and (6) Membership in the Kingdom.
SHARE THE GOSPEL BRAINSTORM:
Have the full-time missionaries come and talk to the youth as a group about those in the area they wish to fellowship. Have youth prepare questions, ideas, and concerns. Assign youth to fellowship certain nonmember youth or to encourage youth who are not coming out.
FRIENDSHIP SEMINAR:
As youth learn how to be a friend and to make friends, this will help them to become better missionaries. Have them separate into different workshops with different youth or leaders sharing ideas on being a friend. Encourage them to place questions about being a friend and finding friends in a question box. Have everyone do this and then read them aloud. Have the other youth and leaders respond to answer the questions.
