I Will Be Valiant and Testify of Jesus! balloon maze
ACTIVITY: Help youth learn how they can acquire a valiant testimony that can help them testify of Jesus Christ and His and Heavenly Father’s plan of salvation.
1. Color balloon maze as follows: Find the missing letters that go in the word box by drawing a line (with different colored crayons, pencils, or markers) to the balloon.
2. Unscramble missing letters and place them in the word box to learn ways you can be valiant (ANSWERS below).
TO MAKE Print the balloon maze in color or in black-and-white and have youth color the balloon maze (see #1 above).

THOUGHT TREAT: Balloon bite-size cakes. (Or, purchase or make cake pops – see video below)
To Make: (1) make a batter with 18 ounces of white or yellow cake mix, ¾ cup of water, and 2 eggs. (2) Divide batter into four containers. (3) Drop a different food coloring (e.g., yellow, red, blue, green) into the batter. (4) Stir, and drop by tablespoonsful 2” apart onto a greased cookie sheet. (5) Place a two-inch licorice string in the bottom half of each. (6) Bake 8-11 minutes at 375°.
To Serve Balloon Cakes: As you eat, have youth tell you how they can soar with a valiant testimony (using words on balloon maze, above).
