Stand for Right and Resist Evil
MY PERSONAL TITLE OF LIBERTY
OBJECTIVE: Read about the Title of Liberty in Alma 46:12-13. Help youth create their own personal Title of Liberty to express who they are, what they hope to be, and what they stand for. Tell them that freedom comes from resisting evil and keeping Heavenly Father’s commandments as Captain Moroni did.
TO MAKE Print on cardstock, color and cut out the My Personal Title of Liberty for each youth.
ACTIVITY: My Personal Title of Liberty
Youth can draw a picture or write their personal plan to resist evil. Place their Liberty flag on a wooden dowel and hang with a string tied to the dowel.
THOUGHT TREAT Cheese Title of Liberty. Make a flag by dividing a slice of cheese or a fruit roll-up and placing a toothpick-pole on the side. Tell the youth that the good choices they make can make them free and happy.

• Study Alma 46, 48, and 49:21–30. Study lesson (above).
• Read Alma 47, 49:1–20 (to teach).
• See discussion questions in the lesson to share.
• You’ll need: A Book of Mormon for each child, the My Personal Title of Liberty activity to DOWNLOAD (HERE above), and a picture from the Gospel Art Kit (from the Church library of the Title of Liberty of Captain Moroni Raises the Title of Liberty Kit 312; 62051).
