Moroni and Me: My Personal Golden Plates
OBJECTIVE: Help youth create their own set of golden plates and follow the example of Moroni. Here they can learn about Moroni and how he showed charity. Charity is the pure love of Christ. Challenge youth to complete Days 1-12 charity challenges, filling in the journal pages of their goals.
ACTIVITY: See instructions on the two pages to fill in the activity after reading the scripture(s).
TO MAKE Print on lightweight paper the Moroni and Me: My Personal Golden Plates journal pages 1-2 for each youth.
THOUGHT TREAT: Charity Cookies. Make a plate of cookies youth can help you deliver to someone special (a widow or widower, or a special family needing loving love and attention). Youth can deliver these as a group and enjoy eating a cookie (made just for them) on the way. As you go, memorize Moroni 7:47 (on the Scripture Challenge Card included).

SCRIPTURE CHALLENGE CARD: Help youth Search and Ponder this scripture card by filling in the blanks. PRINT this 5 x 7 scripture card from the pdf included with the above activity. You can punch the two holes on the left and tie a ribbon to attach cards or use two metal rings to connect cards.
