The Gift of the Holy Ghost gift package
OBJECTIVE: Help children understand that the Holy Ghost helps us with many things.
CRAFT ACTIVITY – The Gift of the Holy Ghost – Gift Package
1. Copy the gift package that follows for each child. Cut a soft piece of fabric to enclose. Cut a slit on the line to insert the heart, Holy Ghost, and soft fabric as you tell them He is the Comforter.
2. This Holy Ghost gift package shows children that the Holy Ghost is a special gift we can receive after we are baptized.
3. Explain that the Holy Ghost does not have a body, so He can be Heavenly Father’s and Jesus’s helper. He can whisper the truth in our hearts and minds. He can help us make the right choices. He can warn us if danger is near. He can give us a feeling of peace when we are sad. He is our Comforter (show soft piece of fabric).
THOUGHT TREAT: Heart-shaped cookie (or bread cut into a heart shape).

DOWNLOAD “I Am a Child of God” song visuals on GospelGrabBag.com* (shown right). Explain that the verse: “Lead me, guide me, walk beside me. Help me find the way. Teach me all that I must do to live with him someday.” The Holy Ghost can be our guide to help us find our way back to heaven.
