Heavenly Father and Jesus Love Me – Hearts-on-a-String
OBJECTIVE: Help children know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love them and ways they are loved by them (shown on the heart-to-heart necklace).
LESSON. Use NURSERY Lesson 4 “Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ Love Me” (found HERE).
LESSON. Use SUNBEAM Lesson 6 “Heavenly Father and Jesus Love Me” (found HERE).
TO MAKE Print and cut out the hearts. Punch holes in the hearts and tie together with a string, tying a knot between each heart to keep apart (optional).
ACTIVITY: Sing “My Heavenly Father Loves Me”* while you talk to children about the images on the necklace.
DOWNLOAD song visuals (that match these HERE (or below).
THOUGHT TREAT: Heart-shaped cookies or candies. Tell children that Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, love us. They gave us this beautiful world so we can be happy. Let’s tell Them we love Them when we pray, and thank Heavenly Father for (name items from the hearts on-a-string): birds, sky, rain, wind, rose, a lilac tree, eyes, ears, body, and butterfly.
