Jesus Lights up My Life (Light-switch Cover)
OBJECTIVE: To strengthen the youth’s faith in Jesus Christ by teaching them about the faith of the pioneers.
ACTIVITY: “Jesus Lights up My Life” Light-switch Cover
Remind youth with this light-switch cover that Jesus Christ lit the way for the pioneers to help them solve problems, and He can light the way for us to solve our problems in these latter-days. Ask youth to place the cover over their light switch to remind them to have faith in Jesus Christ, and believe that He will help them with their problems.
TO MAKE Print or copy and color the light-switch cover for each youth. Cut out the center to place over the lightswitch, or place over the lightswitch.
THOUGHT TREAT: Faith Finger Treats. Give each youth five olives to place on their fingers. Before eating each olive, have them name a way they can increase faith in Jesus, e.g., pray read scriptures, attend church, pay my tithing, and listen in testimony meeting.
SCRIPTURE CHALLENGE CARD: Help children Search and Ponder this scripture card by filling in the blanks. PRINT this 5 x 7 scripture card from the pdf included with the above activity. You can punch the two holes on the left and tie a ribbon to attach cards or use two metal rings to connect cards.

Behold, I do not bring it to destroy that which they have received, but to build it up. . . .
