OBJECTIVE: Tell children that Heavenly Father has made it possible for our families to be together forever. As we faithfully keep His commandments, we can be sealed in the temple to our families eternally. This makes it possible for us to live in Heavenly Father’s presence again.
CRAFT ACTIVITY – Temple Preparation Slideshow
1. Print or copy the slide show that follows for each child. Cut out. Fold picture strip to slide through slits (cut inside doors). Fold edges.
2. Pull pictures strip through the window as you talk about and show ways we can prepare to go to the temple: pray, obey parents, love others, go to church, pay your tithing, and eat good foods.
THOUGHT TREAT: Temple cookies (with white frosted temples)
