Angel Tells of Two Births – John and Jesus
OBJECTIVE: Tell children about the Angel Gabriel who appeared to Zacharias (the father of John the Baptist) and Mary (the mother of Jesus) and Joseph (who would be married to Mary).
Tell children, John would tell the people that Jesus is coming, and would baptize Jesus. Jesus would come to tell us of Heavenly Father’s plan.
Did you know that John and Jesus would be cousins? John’s mother, Elizabeth is Jesus’ mother, Mary’s cousin. Elizabeth is the wife of Zacharias.
Let’s go to a family reunion and meet the kinfolk of John and Jesus.
