OBJECTIVE: Tell children that Jesus created this beautiful world for us to live in under the direction of Heavenly Father. While living on this earth, we will be tested and will learn to be like Heavenly Father and Jesus.

Use this activity for NURSERY and SUNBEAMS (Ages 1-5)

LESSON 14 “Adam and Eve Were Created in Heavenly Father’s Image” (found HERE).

POSTER ACTIVITY – Adam and Eve Creation Poster
1. Print or copy the activity poster. Adam and Eve were created on day 6 (see wristband above).

2. Talk about the poster, saying, “Adam and Eve. We are the descendants of Adam and Eve. They were created in the image of Heavenly Father and Jesus.”

• Point out that our faces (eyes, nose, mouth, ears), our hair, and our bodies are like their bodies, but we have our own color of hair, eyes, and skin, and our own face and body shape. Some of us are taller and some are shorter. Some of us are younger, and some are older.
3. Talk about the Home Activity:  “Help me to realize that the earth and everything on it was created to bring us joy. All that we see around us—a star, a flower, an animal—tells us that Heavenly Father and Jesus love us!”

THOUGHT TREAT:  People cookies. Cut out people-shaped cookies, bake, and frost. Talk about why we’re thankful for our bodies of flesh and bones that help us walk, talk, help, and play.
