I’m preparing for the Second Coming of Jesus. (medallion)
OBJECTIVE: The lesson helps children want to prepare for Jesus Christ’s second coming by following Jesus’ teachings.
ACTIVITY: Second Coming Medallion
This medallion will remind children of the following: On one side, “I am preparing for the Second Coming of Jesus.” On the other side, “I Will Keep Heaven in Sight as I Choose the Right.”

TO MAKE:
1. Print or copy, color, and cut out the activity.
2. Glue medallion parts A and B back-to-back. Punch a hole at the top.
3. Tie yarn or ribbon to fit around the child’s neck.
THOUGHT TREAT: Soda Cracker See-to-Heaven. Have children close one eye as they look through the holes of a soda cracker with the other eye – to appear as though they are looking for Jesus (upon His Second Coming). You could have them look at the picture of Him returning through the cracker. Then have them crunch on the cracker to eat it and say, “It’s crunch time. We need to get going and get prepared to meet Jesus.”
