The Holy Ghost Speaks stand-up card

OBJECTIVE: The lesson helps children understand that after they are baptized they will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost to help them.
ACTIVITY: Holy Ghost Stand-up Card
Help children realize that after they are baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, they can receive this special gift to help them. The stand-up card reads: “The Holy Ghost speaks to my heart and to my mind.”
TO MAKE:
1. Using cardstock print or copy, color, and cut out the activity. Note: Make enough girl-face or boy-face activities for each girl/boy in class.
2. Before the lesson activity, cut dotted lines with small-sharp scissors, X-ACTO knife, or razor blade. Or fold and cut on dotted lines on both sides at once.
3. Fold where indicated and stand card.
THOUGHT TREAT: Heart-Shaped Treats. Use cookies with heart-shaped candies on top or use heart-shaped candies. Talk about how the Holy Ghost can speak to our mind and heart.
