OBJECTIVE:
To help the youth understand that when they do all they can and trust in Heavenly Father, He will guide them.

ACTIVITY: Memorize the poster, 2 Nephi 4:15-24 “I know in whom I have trusted.” Help youth understand that they can trust in Heavenly Father and that He will guide them. Help youth learn the message and talk about how we can be trusted.

TO MAKE Using cardstock, print or copy, color, and cut out the Nephi Message Poster for each youth.

THOUGHT TREAT: “Chew”y Choose the Right Treats. Have chewy candies or apples or fruit candies. Candy Ideas: saltwater taffy, caramels, or gum in a container. Tell youth to choose a chewy treat, to help them remember to “chews” the right.

SCRIPTURE CARDS: Help children Search and Ponder this scripture card by filling in the blanks. PRINT this 5 x 7 scripture card from the pdf included with the above activity. You can punch the two holes on the left and tie a ribbon to attach cards or use two metal rings to connect cards.

Testimony and Challenge: Share with youth a time when you trusted in Heavenly Father to help you accomplish something difficult. Bear testimony of the importance of doing all we can and then placing our trust in Heavenly Father. Challenge youth to think about Nephi during the coming week and try to be more like him when problems arise.
