TO FIND LESSON: Present Lesson 24 – Primary 5 Manual – Doctrine and Covenants-Church History: The School of the Prophets and the Word of Wisdom 

OBJECTIVE: To help youth understand and desire to live the Word of Wisdom.

LESSON-MATCH ACTIVITY: Review enrichment activities 3 and 4 in the manual for which the following activity illustrates.

ACTIVITY: Word of Wisdom Voting Ballot 

Have youth read the statement and vote “yes” or “no” by checking the column next to the statement. This will help youth make healthful decisions. They can look up the scriptures and fill in the blanks.

TO MAKE: Print or copy, color, and cut out the voting ballot pattern for each youth.

THOUGHT TREAT: Healthful Choice Food. Talk about the variety of foods we have to choose from that are healthful. Bless the food and thank Heavenly Father for the healthful choices we have and for the revelation of the Word of Wisdom given to us through the Prophet Joseph Smith.
