POST-AND-PRESENT ACTIVITY. JESUS PROMISED TO RETURN Second Coming Concentration. Youth can ponder their actions now to prepare for when the Savior will return, asking, “Am I ready?” Here they can match up the poster card with the image, turning over the picture of Jesus in the red robe that He will wear when He returns. For example, the card telling about Jesus will live with the righteous for 1,000 years (in peace).

Jesus Promised to Return
(Second Coming Concentration)
OBJECTIVE: Help children ponder scriptures about the Second Coming of Jesus and ponder their actions to see if they will be ready when He comes again.
TO MAKE Print, color, and cut out the scripture cards and image cards and 4 copies of the Jesus (Second Coming Concentration) page to make 16 cards. Glue to Jesus cards on the backs of the scripture and image cards. Laminate for durability.
ACTIVITY:
- Talk about the Second Coming of Jesus, how only our Heavenly Father knows when Jesus will come again. We need to remember and worship Jesus Christ every day so we can prepare.
- Display the image cards (that match the scripture cards) on the board, with the Second Coming Concentration side facedown.
- Divide children into two groups, and give each group four scripture cards to look up scriptures. Then have them post the scripture card with the image card.
- Then mix cards and tape them facedown on the board so the Jesus Second Coming Concentration side is faceup.
- Play the Concentration Game, having teams take turns turning two cards over to make a match. When they make a match, their team receives a point. Turn cards facedown if a match is not made. Play until all cards are matched. The team with the most matches wins! #SecondComing #Millennium #SecondComingofJesus
