Give them a few minutes to review 1 Corinthians 15 and share truths they find about how the sting of death is overcome. Then consider activities like those below to help the youth better understand how the Savior can comfort us when someone we care about dies.

ACTIVITIES:
GAME & SING ALONG. EASTER HOSANNA mini memorize song graphic cards and memory game. Write lyrics on the back of the cards. Make it a challenge by writing half the verse on one card and the rest on the other matching card. For example, on the Hosanna card(s) #5 write the chorus “Hosanna! Blessed be the name … (on the first card) “of the Most High God!” (on the second card).
BOOKMARK ACTIVITY. I KNOW MY SAVIOR LIVES bookmarks. Youth can use these 3-different bookmarks to mark and underline passages in the scriptures that tell about Jesus Christ our Savior how He lived, died, and was resurrected, and how someday He will return.
YOUTH ACTIVITY. “I STAND ALL AMAZED at the love Jesus offers me” sacrament thought card. Youth can memorize 3 Nephi 11:14 and write their feelings about the Savior. Verse 14 witness the nail prints on His side, hands, and feet to know He is the God of Israel and the whole earth, slain for the sins of the world.
