ACTIVITY DAYS PLANNER
Scrap-Happy Scrapbooking Fun! (Create scrapbook pages)
1. Review the “Bear”y Fun Ways to Make a Memory Scrapbook, and obtain a set of stencil patterns to create borders or designs using stencils.
2. Gather paper, spray adhesive glue, markers or acrylic paint or poster paint, sponge, pointed craft scissors, black marker pen, and paper punch.
To Make Scrapbook Pages:
1. Print and cut out stencils on outside border and fan-fold leaf and flower stencils to make it easy to cut out squares. Cut out images and paper-punch circle.
2. Using spray adhesive glue (the kind used by artists), lightly spray the back of border, and place on page to hold in place.
3. Color with markers or sponge paint where images are cut out.
4. Let dry and remove stencil from page. If you’re careful, you can reuse stencils.
5. Use your imagination to create your own stencils and borders.
6. Create drawings or lettering using a black or dark marker.
THOUGHT TREAT (Scrap-Happy Sandwich). Decorate a sandwich with a smile to remind you to go the extra mile to scrapbook your memories before they fade. Be creative and put your personality in your designs.
