AGES 8-11. EGYPTIAN PLAGUES crossword puzzle. Youth can learn the 10 plagues the Lord sent through Moses to inflict on the Egyptians for not letting the Israelites go. They will know from this that Moses used his priesthood, the power of God to create these warnings to the slavers. Plagues were: turning water to blood, hail and fire, lice, frogs, darkness, flies, boils, locust, and death of firstborn.

TELL OF ANOTHER MIRACLE: Tell about Moses, after freeing the Israelites from Egypt how they crossed the Red Sea on dry ground.
Ask the children to share a time when they needed help. Explain that King Limhi’s people were in trouble, so he shared a story to help them have faith. FROM THE BOOK OF MORMON Read Mosiah 7:19 to the children, and show a picture of the children of Israel crossing the Red Sea (see Moses Parting the Red Sea, ChurchofJesusChrist.org).
Mosiah 7:19 “Therefore, lift up your heads, and rejoice, and put your trust in God, in that God who was the God of Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob; and also, that God who brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, and caused that they should walk through the Red Sea on dry ground, and fed them with manna that they might not perish in the wilderness; and many more things did he do for them.”
