YOUTH LESSON ACTIVITY. TOGETHER FOREVER righteous ring. Youth can view this first as a temple picture. Then opening into a ring to reveal temple blessings and righteous decisions that need to be made to obtain temple blessings. For example, it starts out “A temple marriage will bring eternal blessings” and it ends with, “I must obey the commandments.”

Little LESSON LIFESAVER Activity
Together Forever righteous ring
OBJECTIVE: Help youth realize with this message ring that temple marriage will bring eternal blessings. The ring helps identify things they need to do to have a temple recommend and partake of temple ordinances.
ACTIVITY: Together Forever righteous ring
Create a Together Forever righteous ring. Have youth place the ring over their heads as you read the message starting with “A temple marriage will bring eternal blessings,” and the ending reads, “I must obey the commandments.” The circle or ring represents eternal blessings that can be found if we follow the righteous actions on the ring.
ALL WORDS on the ring: “A temple marriage will bring eternal blessings. A temple marriage can make families be together forever! But we must make righteous decisions by following the example of Jesus Christ. I must keep my body and mind clean and pure. I must sustain President of the Church prophet, seer, and revelator. I must pay a full tithing. I must be honest in my dealings with others. I must attend my church meetings. I must treat my family with kindness. I must obey the commandments.”
TO MAKE Print and cut out the Together Forever righteous ring for each youth. Cut out outside edge. Fold in half lengthwise. Cut centerfold line 1/8 inch where indicated (leaving fold tab uncut). Cut into lines left and right, being careful not to cut through to the other side. Pull into a circle shape.
THOUGHT TREAT: Eternity Ring Doughnuts. Serve cake doughnuts (without frosting) that represent eternal marriage, having no end, lasting forever and ever if both husband and wife obey Heavenly Father’s commandments and keep their covenants. They could frost with frosting-in-a-tube the word “Eternity” or “Temple” or “Forever” on the doughnut (ring).
SCRIPTURE CARDS: Help children Search and Ponder this scripture card by filling in the blanks. PRINT this 5 x 7 scripture card from the pdf included with the above activity. You can punch the two holes on the left and tie a ribbon to attach cards or use two metal rings to connect cards.
