Jesus Is the Star We’ve Waited For! Star Bright that special night! ornament.
OBJECTIVE: To strengthen each child’s testimony of the divinity of Jesus Christ’s birth. See Lesson Ideas* (below).

ACTIVITY: Testimony Star and Star Ornament
Help children share their testimony of Jesus Christ and create an ornament “Jesus is the star we’ve waited for!” to remember Him. Color and cut out a star for each child.
Testimony Star: Ask each child to write their testimony or write keywords that describe their testimony on the back of the large star “Star Bright that Special Night!” Take turns sharing your testimony and how you feel about the Savior. Ask children to take the large star home and place it in their window, sharing their testimony with their family.
TO MAKE Print and cut out the Testimony Star and Star Ornament for each child. Punch a hole in the small star and attach a 6″ piece of yarn to create an ornament child can hand on their Christmas tree.
YOUTH CAN TEACH using this LESSON 46 Prophets Foretold the Birth of Jesus Christ (Christmas) from the Primary 6 Old Testament manual.
Review enrichment activity 3 (spotlighting shepherds and wise men visiting the baby Jesus – following the STAR) in the “Star Bright that special night” activity above.
SCRIPTURE CARDS: Help children Search and Ponder this scripture card by filling in the blanks. PRINT this 5 x 7 scripture card from the pdf included with the above activity. You can punch the two holes on the left and tie a ribbon to attach cards or use two metal rings to connect cards.
