FOUR WAYS TO GRAB SONG VISUALS AND SINGING
IDEAS TO PRESENT THIS SONG:
1. Tell children that this song has many questions and answers. When a QUESTION is sung children can raise their hand high, and when an ANSWER is sung children can put up a hand to one ear (like they are listening).
2. After learning the song you can divide children into boys and girls, or left and right sides of the room and do the following actions. Have a judge determine the winning sides by their actions.
• Girls and Boys: When a QUESTION is sung, girls stand up. When the ANSWER is sung boys stand up.
• Dividing Sides: When a QUESTION is sung children can raise their hand high, and when an ANSWER is sung children can nod their heads.
Lyrics
-
How could the Father tell the world of love and tenderness?
He sent his Son, a newborn babe, with peace and holiness.
How could the Father show the world the pathway we should go?
He sent his Son to walk with men on earth, that we may know.
How could the Father tell the world of sacrifice, of death?
He sent his Son to die for us and rise with living breath.
What does the Father ask of us? What do the scriptures say?
Have faith, have hope, live like his Son, help others on their way.
What does he ask? Live like his Son.
