Objective: Help children/youth memorize Abraham 3:24-25: “We will make an earth whereon these may dwell; and we will prove them herewith, to see if they will do all things whatsoever the Lord their God shall command them.”
To Make: Print, color, and cut out poster of your choice. If printing the larger size poster, mount the two parts on poster paper. The smaller cards are for children to take home.
Ways to Motivate Children/Youth to Memorize Scripture:
• Give out small black and white scripture cards to memorize.
• Once they are passed off give out the colored version of scripture cards.
THOUGHT TREAT: Thankful – Earth Cookies. Frost round sugar cookies to make a world with green and blue frosting. As youth/children eat, have them come up and share why they are happy Heavenly Father sent them to earth.
