OBJECTIVE: To help youth understand the importance of temples and of being worthy to receive temple ordinances.
ACTIVITY: Temple Photo Frame
This frame reminds youth to live worthy of temple blessings.
TO MAKE: Print or copy, color, and cut out the frame for each youth on cardstock paper. Cut out inside of the frame. Cut out the flap on the back of the frame and fold to stand frame up, glue to the back. Ask youth to place/tape their photo on the back so it shows through–next to the temple.
THOUGHT TREAT: Temple Mints. Hand out temple-shaped mints or mint-flavored frosted sugar cookies. Tell youth that Heavenly Father “mint” (meant) for all of us to share the blessings of the temple.
SCRIPTURE CARDS: Help children Search and Ponder this scripture card by filling in the blanks. PRINT this 5 x 7 scripture card from the pdf included with the above activity. You can punch the two holes on the left and tie a ribbon to attach cards or use two metal rings to connect cards.
