Youth can build the big puzzle step by step, by placing the feet at the bottom, Then, reading the feet cards, then hand and arm cards, and working up until the puzzle is built. Tell them that Heavenly Father wishes to crown us with glory for our royal actions.

POST-AND-PRESENT Activity
Choose the Right Consequences: Build a True Prince and Princess puzzle
OBJECTIVE: (see above).
TO MAKE VISUALS: Print and color, and cut out the images. Laminate.
ACTIVITY:
1. Ahead of time, hide the cards by taping them under chairs or on a wall across the room.
2. Have children help you put the puzzle together as you talk about the prince’s and princess’s feet, legs, hands, arms, hearts, shoulders, and heads. Talk about how they can use these to create royal actions, then be crowned with glory if they are valiant. Tell children they are of royal birth, children of a living God who loves them. Heavenly Father wants us to make the right choices so we can be part of His kingdom. We can find happiness only when we choose the right and keep all of Heavenly Father’s commandments.
3. Have children find cards under chairs, then have all the feet cards start first, placing the feet position cards next to the feet position on the puzzle. Talk about the valiant choice and the good consequence for that action.
4. Repeat with each body part: legs, hands, arms, hearts, shoulders, and heads until you reach the crown, telling children that HEAVENLY FATHER WISHES TO CROWN US WITH GLORY FOR OUR ACTIONS.
Note: This can be done in two weeks by using half the cards, choosing some of each to discuss. Talk about the card action and the good consequence. Then tell the opposite bad action and the consequence.
THOUGHT TREAT: Crown Toast. Cut the crust off the bread and cut with scissors the top crown in two v-shapes. Spray butter spread or melted butter on top and toast (optional cinnamon and sugar top). Broil 3 minutes to melt. Tell children that Heavenly Father wants us all to be kings and queens – so why not choose the right every day to get used to wearing our prince and princess crowns. Then we will be ready to meet Jesus and Heavenly Father again someday.
