Book of Mormon Testifies of Resurrection
OBJECTIVE: Encourage children/teens to write their own Easter picture story showing that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and the Resurrection. Help youth look up the scriptures and write the story that matches each picture in their own words.
TO MAKE Print in color (or color) for each youth.
THOUGHT TREAT: Easter Egg Hunt. Hide and find candy eggs, telling youth the eggs symbolize new life or a new beginning–like the chicken’s egg becomes a newborn chick.
Jesus brought us a new life or a new beginning. He suffered for our sins so that when we repent we might be forgiven and live new again. He died so that we might be resurrected and live new again after we die (Alma 33:22).
