LESSON OBJECTIVE: Dressing modestly shows respect for others, Heavenly Father, and myself.
ACTIVITY: My Body Is a Temple (sewing card)
1. Help youth color in the modest outfit on the card and sew the sides with yarn to frame it for their room so they know the standards of modesty.
2. Have a modesty talk. Help youth know the difference between modest and immodest dress. Read the gospel standard found on the card. “I can dress modestly to show respect for Heavenly Father and myself.” GO HERE ⇒ to find this in My Gospel Standards.
TO MAKE Print, color, and cut out the sewing card, or enlarge grou a group presentation. Have enough yarn for each youth to sew their card, punching holes in the card to thread yarn through as shown.
