This BUNDLE is to give youth leaders many activities to teach the above theme for the bi-weekly lesson.
Look for these activity handouts to help you teach lesson concepts and give them TEACHING TOOLS to plan and develop lesson objectives. These lesson-match interactive activities will add to and enhance your lessons.

What recent experiences have brought us closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ?
ACTIVITY (shown above):
POST-AND-PRESENT ACTIVITY. JESUS IS MY LIGHT Choose the Right Light Show. Youth can know from D&C 4:1-2 that Jesus teaches us how to live our Heavenly Father’s commandments. This way we can be happy and light the way for others by following Him.
(2) Care for those in need.
Has someone recently moved into our ward or joined the Church? How can we help them feel welcome?
ACTIVITY (shown above):
POST-AND-PRESENT ACTIVITY. YOU’RE A KEEPER: Fishing for Faithful Friends. Help youth choose friends who are faithful in keeping God’s commandments and who are trustworthy. They are not judgmental, bullying those who need encouragement. They will learn to stand for right and seek the Spirit in choosing good friends and being a good friend. They can also be a good “fish”-ionary, sharing the gospel.
(3) Invite all to receive the gospel.

Plan and hold a parent-child activity, such as a dinner, picnic, hike, day trip, or service project.

YOUTH LESSON ACTIVITY. MEET MY ANCESTOR Spotlight – Share a Family Story journal. Youth can prepare a pedigree chart with their name and their parents and grandparents’ names. Prepare a family group record for your family. Share a family story. Discuss how performing temple work blesses families.
