TO MAKE (Option 1 or 2):
#1 Thanks Card. Fan-fold the card so that the “Thanks” is on the top. Glue or tape the back of the “Thanks” portion to the back of the “to ewe” portion to finish the card. Then, sign the card. If mailing, place the card inside an envelope.
#2 Dresser Stand-up Card. The child can make another card to place on their dresser (folding the card to stand up). This can remind them to express thanks to those who help them.

For the THANK YOU: I Will Say Thank You courtesy thank-you card
The above activity illustrates the ART ACTIVITY in the Lesson*where you can give children crayons or colored pencils to color in the THANKS card activity (above) or make their own with a note of gratitude.
As they craft their creation they think of a special person they want to give their note to. Remind them that thanking others makes them happy and us happy too.
