ADAM AND EVE Tic-Tac-Toe Do You Know? Game
OBJECTIVE: To help the children want to always remember Jesus Christ as they give the lesson “Adam and Eve and Their Family Offered Sacrifices.” (see LESSON IDEAS* below).
ACTIVITY: Tic-Tac-Toe Do You Know? game
Help children find the missing words in the 15-question wordstrips* (in the game – also found in the lesson manual detailed below*).
To Play:
1. Divide children into two teams. Give one team Adam markers and the other team Eve markers.
2. Take turns reading a question wordstrip and guessing the missing word. If the guess is right, the player places an Adam or Eve marker on the board.
3. If the guess is wrong, look up scripture and read it aloud to learn the missing word.
4. The first team to place three Adam or Eve squares in a row (either horizontally, diagonally, or vertically) wins the game.
5. When a team wins, remove the markers and start again until questions/scriptures 1–15 are read (#10 and #11 are FREE POINTS – no questions).
TO MAKE Print and cut out the Tic-Tac-Toe Do You Know? game for each child.
THOUGHT TREAT: Tic-Tac-Toe Waffles. A waffle looks much like a tic-tac-toe game board. Give each child a waffle to place M&M candies inside each square to play Tic-Tac-Toe. Divide into two teams and take turns playing the game. Play with two different colors of candies (one for each team). As you place a marker in the waffle square, name a way you can remember Jesus.
SCRIPTURE CARDS: Help children Search and Ponder this scripture card by filling in the blanks. PRINT this 5 x 7 scripture card from the pdf included with the above activity. You can punch the two holes on the left and tie a ribbon to attach cards or use two metal rings to connect cards.
