TO MAKE AND USE: Print one set of cards per child to take home and share with their family, or for family home evening. When printing the match game you will need two sets. Copy the first two pages twice on cardstock. Print the third page only once (as it has a matched set).

WRITING THE SONG WORDS SUGGESTIONS:
1. SING-ALONG CARDS. Write the words on the backs of the cards, a sentence starter (two or three words) or a keyword to help you memorize each verse.
2. Print out a song and follow along as you view the cards as cue cards for singing or match cards for matching.

HOW TO USE CARDS TO PRACTICE THE SONG:
1. Show the cards as you sing the verses, e.g. the first verse is number 1, etc.
2. You can mount the cards on a string with paper-clips to memorize or to simply decorate your home for Easter.

HOW TO USE THE CARDS AS A MATCH GAME:
1. Lay the cards on a table mixed-up, facedown (or on a board with magnets).
2. Take turns as teams or individuals to turn two cards over to make a match (returning the cards where you found them if a match is not made).
3. If a match is made score one point for your team to determine the winner.
4. Once the matches are made, line the cards up in order and sing the song.

Lyrics

  1. The prophecies of long ago were now at last fulfilled,

When Jesus, risen from the dead, to man Himself revealed.

As he came down from heav’n above, white-robed and glorified,

The people of the promised land received their Lord and cried:

    [Chorus]

“Hosanna! Blessed be the name of the Most High God!

Hosanna! Blessed be the name of the Most High God!”

  2. When Jesus Christ appeared to Nephites in the promised land,

The righteous people saw his wounds and came to understand

That he, once dead, was risen up as Savior, Lord, and King.

As they rejoiced, now we rejoice, and joyfully we sing:
