FOUR WAYS TO GRAB SONG VISUALS AND SINGING
Lyrics
Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam
Happily
1.Jesus wants me for a sunbeam,
To shine for him each day;
In ev’ry way try to please him,
At home, at school, at play.
A sunbeam, a sunbeam,
Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.
A sunbeam, a sunbeam,
I’ll be a sunbeam for him.
2.Jesus wants me to be loving
And kind to all I see,
Showing how pleasant and happy
His little one can be.
A sunbeam, a sunbeam,
Jesus wants me for a sunbeam.
A sunbeam, a sunbeam,
I’ll be a sunbeam for him.

Music: Edwin O. Excell, 1851–1921
IDEAS TO PRESENT THIS SONG:

Sing and talk about the first verse.
“Jesus wants me for a sunbeam, To shine for him each day.”
When you wake up in the morning instead of a grumpy face, put on a smile so you can shine like the sun. Think of all the blessings Heavenly Father and Jesus have given you.
Think of your family and friends who love you and how you can “In every way try to please him, At home, at school, at play”
