OBJECTIVE: The lesson helps teach the youth that repentance is necessary for earthly happiness and eternal life.
ACTIVITY: Alma the Younger’s Road to Repentance Maze
Help the youth get through the maze, reminding them that repentance is necessary for earthly happiness and eternal life. To complete the maze, tell them, “Alma the Younger chose the wrong path; help him get back on. Read the choice and choose for yourself the direction to go in order to repent and choose the righteous path.” They can use their finger to trace the path or pencil in the path’s direction on the maze.
TO MAKE Print, color, and cut out the Maze that follows for each youth.
THOUGHT TREAT: Smile Sandwich. Decorate a small sandwich with a cheese smile from a cheese-pressurized tube or can. Tell youth that when we repent we become happy.
