1. Read Ether 12:27, then talk about weaknesses and how we can become strong during our trials through reading the scriptures.
2. Share this Great Worth and Value grab bag full of character traits that will bring blessings. Remind youth to of this message: “I am of great worth and value, according to my Heavenly Father who knows me perfectly” (D&C 18:10).

To Use Grab Bag:
1. Ask youth to take turns drawing a character card from the bag. Read the card aloud, and tell what they can do to increase in that value.
2. Read Luke 2:52 and remind youth that Jesus increased in the mental, physical, spiritual, and social areas. Each day He improved.
3. Ask them to turn over each card and write ways they can strengthen their self-worth by acquiring each character trait.
4. Suggest to them that they carry one card in their purse or wallet or post it on their mirror to work on one trait each week.
