God’s Spirit would be poured out
YOUTH LESSON ACTIVITY. I WILL NOT BE DECEIVED Moroni 7:16-17 bite-size memorize and journal. Youth can use this scripture to know that “the Spirit of Christ is given to every man that he may know good from evil.” It tells how to judge everything if it is from God or the devil. Certain actions invite the Spirit

Youth will increase their desire to have the right spirit influencing them as they draw from word-strips to find actions and vote: which actions INVITE THE SPIRIT and which actions TURN THE SPIRIT AWAY. There’s no question that we live in a time of uncertainty and fear. The Old Testament prophet Joel described our time—the “day of the Lord”—as “a day of darkness and of gloominess” and “great and very terrible” (Joel 2:1–2, 11). But that doesn’t mean our days are hopeless. Consider this promise by Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf: “Though at times we may feel buried by the trials of life or surrounded by emotional darkness, the love of God and the blessings of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ will bring something unimaginable to spring forth” (“God Will Do Something Unimaginable,” Ensign or Liahona, Nov. 2020, 52).
So when you notice the darkness and gloominess of our time, remember that the Lord has also promised great—even unimaginable—blessings: “I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy” (Joel 2:28; see also Joseph Smith—History 1:41). Note the specific promise that God’s Spirit would be poured out upon young men and young women. Why do you feel it is important for those you teach to understand that? Ponder this question as you read Joel 2 and Elder Uchtdorf’s message in your preparation to teach.

- (2) POST-AND-PRESENT. LOVED FROM UP ABOVE Hearts-on-a-String. Youth can share how Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ show Their love for us by allowing us to come to earth, giving us talents, gave us a family; Jesus suffered for our sins, suffered and died for us (and more).

The small scripture cards are approximately 5″ x 6″. You will print four on a sheet of paper.
A couple of years ago the Church forgot to put the scriptures in the Sharing Time outline. The Sunday Savers Sharing Fun book and CD-ROM went to press without them. This is when we had to make them available for download here on this website. We had such a good response that we will continue to place them here and not in the book/CD-ROM. The good thing is, there is now more room in the book and CD-ROM to give you more Sharing Time activities.

Is there a way to get only the colored visuals? Wasting a lot of ink and paper. Now I have a potential problem of ink running out in the middle of printing all visuals I downloaded. Will I have to repurchase in order to download?
It is possible to print only the colored pages. Your print cue allows you to print only the pages desired, e.g., indicate 2-3 in the PAGE RANGE print cue to print pages 2 – 3 only only.
We don’t have song visuals for a song “Gethsemane” – what song did you mean?
I downloaded the As A Child of God song visuals. There are no words… Do we put them in ourselves? I thought they had the word cues along with the pictures. How do you suggest using these? Thanks
We don’t give you the words because of copyright. You will need to add the words. This is explained in the SINGING FUN INTRODUCTION page. Sorry for the inconvenience. We don’t have permission to use the words for downloads. One more advantage of not having words is they can be added in different languages.
