How Do the Savior’s Teachings Help Me Make Righteous Judgments?

This BUNDLE is to give youth leaders many activities to teach the above theme for the bi-weekly lesson.
Look for these activity handouts to help you teach lesson concepts and give them TEACHING TOOLS to plan and develop lesson objectives. These lesson-match interactive activities will add to and enhance your lessons.
LESSON-MATCH ACTIVITIES IN THIS BUNDLE INCLUDES (detailed below):
(1) Live the gospel.
What topics has the bishopric discussed in our ward youth council meetings? What can we do as a class or quorum based on those discussions?
YOUTH GOAL PLANNER. GIVE SERVICE OUTSIDE YOUR FAMILY. Youth can use this in council meetings with the bishop to plan projects or individually to find opportunities on the JustServe website or app. The ideas can be written here. The reactions of the person served can be recorded. Goals for future service opportunities can be listed. It’s great for brainstorming and planning.
(2) Care for those in need.
How can we reach out to people in Christlike ways when we see a need and don’t know what to say?
POST-AND-PRESENT ACTIVITY. BAPTISM PROMISES TO SERVE match game. Youth can renew covenants when they are baptized. They promise to: Bear one another’s burdens, Mourn with those who mourn; Comfort those that need comfort; Stand as a witness, and Keep the commandments (Mosiah 18:8-10).
(3) Invite all to receive the gospel.
What have we found in the gospel of Jesus Christ that brings us joy? How can we share that joy with others?
YOUTH LESSON ACTIVITY. HAPPY CHOICES match game. Youth can match smiley face actions to discover how the Nephites and Lamanites found peace and happiness. Examples: Deal justly; love God; no envyings; have all things in common; no contention; converted unto the Lord, etc…
(4) Unite families for eternity.
What are we doing to find names of our ancestors who need temple ordinances? What can we do to help others find the names of their ancestors?
YOUTH GOAL ACTIVITY. FAMILIES CAN BE TOGETHER FOREVER pedigree & story sketch. Youth prepare this chart to spotlight ancestors. They can also write an Appealing Family Story Sketch. Talk about searching for ancestors and searching for temple work done and how it blesses families.
