The Savior knows the ADVERSITY that comes to our children and youth. As we teach them to have faith, pray, and make good choices they can overcome TRIALS with courage and obtain HAPPINESS.
You’ll find many activities (below) to make learning fun. For example, this blind puzzle helps them Overcome Trials with the Help of Jesus (DOWNLOAD HERE or below).

Ages 1-3
NURSERY Ages 1-2 and SUNBEAM Age 3
Children Nursery and Sunbeam ages 1-3 are ready to learn about Jesus and how to follow Him. They also learn about CHURCH and HOME activities and how to choose the right and be happy.
These activities for most lessons have two options: (1) a craft, and (2) a poster or coloring page with a HOME ACTIVITY that parents can discuss with them what they learned and how to apply the gospel principles learned.
The Nursery is usually taught 30 lessons for the year. However, with 52 weeks, there are more times to share lessons. See our EXTRAS section in the menu with other lessons to teach with matching crafts and coloring pages (see CHOICES 1 and 2 above).
Be sure to take photos of the children holding the activities. You could have one printed in color for them to model the activity, and they can take one they color home with them.
If you wish to print all of the activities in color, you could create a little book for them with sheet protectors to enclose/show the activity, and then slip their printed picture alongside. THIS IS GREAT FOR HOME - if not for CHURCH activity presentations.
See the SUNNY SUNDAY Activity Sack to display the crafts in the pocket each week to show what they learned, or enclose the poster or coloring page after they have presented this to their parents and discuss during the week. Perhaps this could be posted on the refrigerator or their room to talk about during the week.
What fun with these visuals to match every lesson in the Nursery and Primary 1 manual. Enjoy!
