POST-AND-PRESENT Activity

I Will Remember Jesus’ Love – Finding the Stories of Jesus puzzle

OBJECTIVE: Help youth learn the stories of Jesus where He showed His love for others. Encourage them to think of these stories during the sacrament and know that Jesus has the same love for us today.

TO MAKE Print and cut out the puzzle pieces and stories. Using double-stick tape, tape the puzzle pieces together to create a picture to tell the stories. You can use the stories. You can use the stories as a reference or read directly from the scriptures for each story.

STORIES:
• JESUS RAISED LAZARUS FROM THE DEAD (John 11:11-46)
• JESUS LOVES THE CHILDREN (Mark 10:13-16)
• JESUS HEALS A BLIND MAN (John 9:1-7)
• JESUS HEALS TEN LEPERS (Luke 17:11-19)
• JESUS WASHED THE FEET OF THE APOSTLES (John 13:3-17)
• JESUS DIED FOR US (Matthew 27:29-54)
• JESUS SUFFERED FOR OUR SINS (Luke 22:39-46)
• JESUS PRAYED FOR US (3 Nephi 17:14-21)

TO PRESENT:
1. Place the “I Will Remember Jesus’ Love” sign in the center, then tell the seven stories, placing the picture puzzle pieces on the board to complete the puzzle.
2. Then take pictures apart, leaving the sign in the center, and placing picture puzzle pieces around the room or on the far left or right of the board randomly.
3. Tell each story, asking one class at a time to help you find the puzzle pieces and place them back on the board.
4. Then point to one story at a time and ask for children to raise their hands if they think they can tell the story.
5. Select a child for each story and have them come up and tell the story in their own words.
