This BUNDLE is to give youth leaders many activities to teach the above theme for the bi-weekly lesson.

Look for these activity handouts to help you teach lesson concepts and give them TEACHING TOOLS to plan and develop lesson objectives. These lesson-match interactive activities will add to and enhance your lessons.

Activity 1 Present as a reminder to always “follow the sun” like the flowers by following “the Son of God.”
POST-AND-PRESENT ACTIVITY. FACING THE SUN/SON OF GOD sunflower stories. Youth can know with this activity that the sunflowers turn their faces toward the sun to grow. They follow the sun all day rotating to always face the sun. We too can learn to turn our face toward the Son of God as He provides light and warmth through His wisdom and Godly attributes we too can obtain. As we follow His example our testimonies can grow and we can become more like Him – thus “FOLLOWING THE SON.”

ACTIVITY 2
SINGING TIME. I KNOW THAT MY REDEEMER LIVES song visuals. Youth can know from this song that Jesus loves them and wants to bless them. He knows what is in their hearts and what they are in need of. He wants to guide them and comfort them. He is preparing a mansion on high for them, hoping they will know that He is their Redeemer and that He lives! This way they can know to prepare to be with Him someday.

ACTIVITY 3
YOUTH ACTIVITY. “I STAND ALL AMAZED at the love Jesus offers me” sacrament thought card. Youth can memorize 3 Nephi 11:14 and write their feelings about the Savior. Verse 14 witnesses the nail prints on His side, hands, and feet to know He is the God of Israel and the whole earth, slain for the sins of the world.

ACTIVITY 4 Use this bouquet of flowers to have the youth write thank-you notes to Jesus Christ. Share these as a testimony time.
YOUTH GOAL ACTIVITY. THANKS A BUNCH! notes – sunflowers in a pot. Youth can really express their appreciation to the bishop, a youth leader, a family member, or a friend. Simply place these note-filled flowers in a pot with the ready label. Notes are placed on the back with the sunny face on the front.
