#1 SEARCH AND PONDER these scriptures and tell how they relate to you.

• Hebrews 11 Summary: “By faith we understand the word and work of God—The faith of the ancients was centered in Christ—By faith, men subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, and worked miracles.
– verse 1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
– verse 2 “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God.”
– learn of the faith of Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham – verse 13 “These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.”
– learn of the faith of Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, and more

• Alma 32:17-42 Summary: “Alma teaches . . . Faith is a hope in that which is not seen which is true. . . . Alma compares the word unto a seed—It must be planted and nourished—Then it grows into a tree from which the fruit of eternal life is picked. About 74 B.C.

• Ether 12:6-22 
– vs. 6 (“receive no witness until after the trial of your faith”)
– vs. 7 (through faith, Jesus appeared to the Nephites)
– vs. 12 (no miracles without faith)
– vs. 13-17 (by faith prison walls tumbled, Lamanites converted, three Nephites “should not taste death”)

• Joseph Smith–History 1:11-20 
Summary: Joseph Smith tells of his ancestry, family members, and their early abodes—An unusual excitement about religion prevails in western New York—He determines to seek wisdom as directed by James—The Father and the Son appear, and Joseph is called to his prophetic ministry. (Verses 1–20.)
– vs. 11 (read James 1:5 “If any of you lackwisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
– vs. 14 (Joseph made an attempt to pray vocally)
– vs. 15-17 (overcome with thick darkness by unseen power; “saw a pillar of light” two personages appeared: the Father and the Son)

HOW TO USE THIS PLANNER FORM:

This fun goal tracker is a perfect motivator for YOUTH: “My Faith Grows as I Learn from Scriptures and Living Prophets.” They simply: 1) Search and ponder the scriptures. 2) Read two General Conference talks on faith and note how they relate to them. 3) Exercise faith by praying morning and evening daily for three weeks.

Download includes goal tracker in Color or Black & White. It is fun for the YOUTH to color in the Black & White version as they complete their goal. Or, reward them with the color version once the goal is completed to re-enter their notes to place in a MEMORY SCRAPBOOK.
